I am equal arts confused and unimpressed so far. The characters have yet to become likable and I have zero understanding of what’s going on plot wise. I will never disrespect an author by dnf’ing a book, but this is rough going.

I HATE HATE HATE the female main in this book. She’s whiny, selfish and overly dependent on her gun. She does not come off as confident or capable. She’s not worthy of Kell at all. I have yet to check the next books blurb, but for the first time in thousands of books I’m hoping it’s about anyone that isn’t her. Finishing is going to hard because she’s so repulsive to me.
