I love Anne Rice, and I adore Lestat. I've been looking forward to this book very much. And now that I have it, I'm bored. There's so much reminiscing going on that it doesn't seem like anyone is actually doing anything. Maybe it's just me. Maybe the story picks up steam later on. I'm just going to read other things for a while & come back to this book later.

This was a good collection of older spooky stories. I've read many of them before, but it was interesting to hear them performed by actors, with a few sound effects thrown in. Aside from one story that had over the top French accents that I couldn't understand half the time, I enjoyed this audio book collection very much.

Halloween is the night that the wall between the worlds is the thinnest. This book is an interesting take on that theme. Dimensional characters, good pacing & a solid ending. Hoping for a sequel. Highly recommend.
