I am determined to finish this book bc it's so hyped. But I'm on the struggle bus. She's such an idiot and he's the ick.

The narrator’s southern accent totally turned me off at the beginning of this Audible but I’ve warmed up to it. I’m liking this book so far.

I’m just not getting the appeal here. Maybe it’s the audiobook. The guy with the growly voice is just giving me the ick.

Dare I say Haymitch is likable?

It always gets me when the cult documentaries are like we had no idea this was a cult 👀. So this tracks.

I love them together. And the Audible for this one is stellar.

The side quests in this book have been very random.

And can we talk about the first...encounter? Like excuse me professor, this girl is a virgin and you're doing WHAT??

Can she and the professor just go ahead with what we alllllllll know is going to happen?

He's still an asshole though.

The jump between parts was...big. Idk how I feel about that.

The dubcon here is giving me the ick. We'll see how it goes.

It's not the same as when I read it the first time haha. I was hunting nostalgia. This ain't that.

The narrator on the Audible is not the vibe. I'm struggling through this because of that.

Of course Millie would move into a neighborhood where one neighbor wants to bone her husband and the other is bat 💩. Seems about right for her. 😂

The fact that Penelope Douglas books come with a spotify playlist is amazing. Like...the vibes are real.
