I have a bad feeling a love triangle is underway 😔

I feel like I’m not gong to enjoy this book quite like I was hoping too… 😕

I love her takes on child bearing and how a woman’s value isn’t tied to her willingness or ability to give a man kids. It’s also perfectly ok to not want kids as a woman and there’s no reason to feel less than because of that.

I love this book (a lot) so far. I love the teases of other townspeople’s stories. I love that the romance aspect is slow growing but consistent. I love watching these ladies bloom. And best yet, one of the sisters constantly voices how it feels to navigate a world of horribleness but still hold out hope that maybe the world isn’t all bad… but it’s been bc of the love her sister and daughter have shown her :)

Definitely got better toward the end but very depressing

Marsh- let’s use some critical thinking skills, babe. She went from being a realistic character to just fully intolerable. It’s giving the dumb character in a horror movie.

I haven’t read a choose your own adventure story in yearssssss. I love the concept.

Not in love with the main character but she has very realistic reactions, so extra points for believability.

Audiobook narration has gotten better but the story itself bores me :/

I’m listening to this as an audiobook and I’m not a big fan of the narrator. She’s pretty robotic.

Surprisingly, I like the lightheartedness of the subject matter. And the MCs are very cute together. Lots of pining

I really like reading this kind of book written by a literary author. I love that she’s writing an autobiography but it almost feels like she’s telling her story in a fictional/mystery prose.

I get so tired of third act break ups 🙄

The main characters are be dry real and I like how this books tackles alcoholism, but I do wish both of the FMC were more mature.

Starting off women’s history month with a book about two best friends navigating life’s hardships and no romance! I don’t relate to the characters at all lol. Also noticing some harsh body image comments right off the bat, but I’m hoping that gets rectified and some character development happens.
