I'm reading this by listening to the audiobook. My biggest issue here is that the Dutch character mispronounces Dutch words and doesn't even try to say it right. I know the Dutch 'g' is often hard for foreigners, but this could've easily been taken out by using a Dutch narrator instead of a British one.
Nothing wrong with a mild Dutch accent for a Dutch character.
