I'm not a fan of having the same narrator for this series as with the Hollows. Both series are about Witches, so it feels like a Rachel book. It sounds like a Rachel book. But it is definitely not a Rachel book.

A different narrator for a different series would have helped me. But I shall try to keep things straight.

If I get through this whole book and never get to see the pixies or fairies, I'm gonna be annoyed.

I finished! I just couldn't DNF this one. I'll review it later, but basically, the last 45 minutes of the audio book really picked up the pace ☺️

I'm gonna have to come back to this book. I should love it... but I think I'm just in an Action mood. This is gonna be my meditation mood book. I'm not willing to DNF... so shelving it until autumn when I'm more chill. Spring is near 😊

How does book 3 have the same narrators but they are using different voices for the characters 🤔 Seriously, they didn't bother to listen to their previous works. And why does the Queen Fae have a male voice??? Ugh.

Rereading this one before the new Book 6.

So a guy is constantly asking you to assign him the tedious task of filing or organizing your records. From his very first day on the job... he wants to bury himself in your police files.... shouldnt that make you wonder why??? But maybe I'm just not a trusting person 👀

This has been such a slow start... I am in Chapter 7 and everything so far could have been done in Chapter One... I know it has to pick up because its rated so high... but gosh Nell is giving me the sleep vibes... but I know that it has to get better because its Faith Hunter.

My predictions: Damon will be Christebelle's brother. It's odd that she has this male commarre' in her world but she has refused to see him while trying to find her brother... it will be a DUH moment if she finds out this dude that she is avoiding is the guy she has been looking for all along.

Second prediction: Octavius will be a spy in Tatiana's court... he is probably the one feeding the K.N. information
