Unimaginable horrors of a mentally ill codependent family. Love and terror abounds, and how did so many fails happen. Mesmerizing, sickening and the reality that is based on true events could indeed bring nightmares for some of us. Usually enthralled by the writing of this author however this story is so saddening by its truth.

Rather sad teen story with a great ending. Most interesting scientific information regarding jellyfish I was unaware of before reading. Introspective thoughts from a young girl who loses her best friend in school popularity situation, then fully loses her and seeks understanding. Would recommend with reservations for young readers. Definite recommend for reader who work with adolescents.

This has been a mesmerizing story. The main character reminds me of Pip in a Dickensian way. Actually the whole story has captured me and I have felt challenged on several levels. I highly recommend this for someone interested in a deep, lengthy story and I will be sorry when I do reach the end..
