It pains me to say this, but this book isn’t working for me. I don’t know, the romance is boring because the girl is super annoying and complicated, and maybe this will be the first book by Abby that I won’t like at all. 🥺

Eu estou amando esse livro e a forma simplista que o autor tem trabalhado um assunto que é essencialmente complicadíssimo. Eu que amo física quântica e estudo o assunto, fico super perdida na maior parte das vezes... Mas o autor está sabendo trabalhar mto bem o assunto e casar td com uma boa dose de suspense e romance.

I think I already know what this book is about and if I'm right, it has nothing to do with the sinopse. I'm enjoying it though, but I thought this book was completelly different. Not sure if I'm right, but it's what makes sense to me right now.

This book is haunting and I'm exhausted and I'm feeling drained from this story. I pick it up and then after 3 chapters I need to put it down cause I just cant keep going. Its painful to read this. And I'm scaried... from the story and for the characters. Its like a train wreck and I can already see how this is going to end. Brilliant story and I'd read this duet again, but right now, I just need to be over with it.

This second book is a million times better than the first one. This time I can finally say that I connected with the story and the characters and like, BIG TIME. My God, what a mess!!!! lol This book gave me 'The Opportunist' feels (which is one of my fav books ever). Thinking of it, maybe that's the reason I connected so much with 'The Lost Fisherman'.

Christ! She has no dignity when it comes to rejection.

Tá difícil entrar nessa história. Simplesmente pelo fato dela não me convencer. Um cara de 28 anos, solteiro, independente, gato, cheio de mulher vai se interessar pela filha da inquilina/amiga que tem 18 anos, é completamente imatura e que por conta da religião é completamente inexperiente e quer se guardar pro casamento. Ela até pode representar o "fruto proíbido". Ainda assim, é mto pouco, eles não tem nada a ver.

Eu estou achando essa protagonista péssima. Chega a ser doloroso de ler algumas partes. Me perguntando se esse sentimento por ela é algo que eu deveria estar sentindo mesmo, se foi comum pra todos quando leram ou se a "culpa" é minha e eu que não dei o click com ela. O que é meio doido porque amo essas histórias de paixão não correspondida, mas ela é mto boba,e por enquanto, não tô sentindo muita coisa com essa hist.

A heroína é boba demais. Vive mais pra agradar o marido do que sei lá...
E que diálogos bobos e brega. Perdi a conta de todas as vezes que revirei os olhos.

About the mole...

This story is so cute. Its a sports romance mixed with friends to lovers and some kind of platonic love. Nothing bad to say about this book. The slow burn and the build up was amazing, but I think we didnt see enough of them as a couple. Also the nicknames didnt work for me, I tried to ignore it most of the times, but other than that, it was pretty good. And it was fun, MZ made me laugh so much with these "people".

Enjoying this book very much. Its really sweet. But the nicknames... Zac calling Bianca "kiddo"... it's killing all the vibes. 🤨

Christ! The back and forth this girl does between these two guys is ridiculous. She goes from one to the other like no big deal. Her final choice is only going to be final because the books eventually has to end, cause if it had another chapter she'd get back to the guy. It's so messeed up. This isnt a good love triangle. Far from it. I had high hopes for this book, but it not working for me at all.

Christ! This is painful to read. I need a break. Right now my heart is breaking for fictional characters. lol That's great! 😂

This book is stressing me out so much. All these enotions are sufocating me. My heart has been heavy since the first page and I cant wait to finish this. But I'm scared about the end of the book and right now, I dont really have a good feeling about it. I know, I often say that I'm okay with sad endings and it's true, but not this time. I need these people to get their HEA. 🙏🏻

I love Zapata's books with my whole heart. I've never read a book of her that I didn't love. She's my favorite author and I'll be forever grateful for all those books cause, but right now, it pains me to say it, but The Best Thing didnt work for me. It never happened before, but it happened this time.

Christ! This book is so so boring that I might die of boredom anytime now.

When I read reviews about the first book, some people said that it ends in cliffhanger because the H finds out the whole truth about the h. So, I was expecting it to happen, but it never came. Now I'm reading part two and nothing yet! Instead there is some unnecessary drama that we didnt really need at the moment. Its just drama for the sake of drama and tbh, I dont really have much patience for this nonsense!

I don't know how Sophia lives in this mafia world. I mean, all of them wants to use and/or kill her. She has no one. I dont know how she deals with all those pigs. Its crazy! I like that she doesn play the victim, but Christ... I feel bad for her sometimes.

I read so many awful things about Savio's story that I was kind of expecting the worst of this book, but to be quite honest, I'm enjoying it. Sure, Savio is a piece of work, but at least the author stayed true to her character. I wasnt expecting anything else... But I haven't finished it yet, so let's see...

Christ! Remo is really fucked up. It's still early to know if I like him, but I love that he's totally unhinged.😂😂

Ahhh Jesus! I hate when the heroine royally fucks up and acts dumb. Huuuh! Why Mack!? Why so stupid?

This book is not hooking me enough. 🥺There is this love triangle where the heroine is not really into my favorite guy and I cant see any chemistry betweem her and the other one. Also, Carmen is also not relatable, she's cool and all, but even though I tried, I couldnt relate to her at all. So, I'm wondering if I should stop for now and wait for the next book to see where this goes...
