It's been such a long time since i revisited a book that I loved. I've read a few really great arcs lately, but once I cleared my NetGalley shelf, I found myself in a book slump. Since then, I have dnf'd a book i got 50% of the way into (It was The Wedding People which everyone else except for me apparently loves) and everything that I have on hold at the library just doesn't sound enticing enough. So here we are!

I just can't get into this. Its not that it's bad but i'm still too wrapped up in thinking about Manacled and stuck in that world. Maybe I need to try something completely different on my TBR like, Yellowface or something.

I'm so into this friggin thing that I almost wish that I never read it. I know it's going to be over soon and I'm already not okay about that fact.

A mammoth dark Harry Potter fanfic that I found out about via TikTok. Everyone seems to be losing their shit over it there. So when I saw that it had nearly 5 stars and almost 53k reviews on Goodreads, I had to download it to my Kindle to check it out. It's darker then I normally read given that it's a mishmash of Harry Potter & The Handmaid's Tale. It's a world in which Harry Potter died and Voldemort won the war.

F/F romance?! Feel-good sci-fi?! A COZY F*KIN SPACE OPERA?! Holy shit. Say less!

A little more than halfway done and this has already earned a 5 star rating from me. READ THIS BOOK.

Absolutely loving this so far.

I'm 130 pages into this hyped up book and I am totally confused why everyone is bananas for it. I just finished and LOVED her other popular one "Love and Other Words" so I was expecting more of that kind of flavor...but this is just more of the same basic enemies to lovers script where I'm not finding very much actual chemistry (besides physical) atm. Ill give it a little bit more before I officially declar "dnf".

I've been having a hard time finding books that have kept my attention this year and DNF them pretty quickly. But I am absolutely LOVING this one and I'm only halfway through. The character development and depth to each one is incredible. I already highly recommend.

Halfway through and this is quite possibly one of the stupidest books I've ever read. I'm so confused by the hype and high ratings. I feel like I'm reading middle school fan fic. I'm still going to finish it though because there's gotta be something incredible and mind blowing in the 2nd half that I just haven't gotten to yet.

Ughhh I can't take it. This book has already claimed a spot as one of my favorites. It's so good.
