The best yet of the series. We’ve moved well beyond a “monster of the week” format into more of a psychological thriller that examines the monsters inside of us.

This one is “trippy” and reads like a poetic dream that combines moments of lucid, straightforward storytelling with cryptic verse and powerful but disorienting images.

I’ve stuck with it so far because it is set in NW Arkansas during the 70s, and knew that area in the late 70s and throughout the 80s.
