I have forgotten how much this woman's words feed my soul!!

I cannot tell you how excited I am to cuddle up into Suanne's beautiful words!!

This book is seriously scaring the bejeezus outta me. I'm going to hide it under a pile of pillows and do something happy for a bit!!!

"I felt like a pinata at a broomstick convention, wondering when hard candy would shoot out my ass."

That is pure writing gold!!!!

I hate this book so much and I love this book so much!!! Aaaaggghhh...the angst if this is going where I think it's going!!! I want to stay up all night finishing this, but now my heart hurts.

...and the book is going into the freezer and I shall glare at it from across the room from a safe distance.

Oh lordy, I already have a giant boulder in the pit of my stomach. I just want to bawl because I see the writing on the wall. Self: It will be okay! Other self: No it won't. Hold me!!

Oooooh...shiny, pretty!!! Nothing like having a new Jewel E Ann to usher in a snowy weekend!!

This was both riveting and clever. I loved the characters and their backstories and how the story is alternately told from the different points of view until it all comes together. It was fast paced and action filled. I especially loved Jenna, a pretty bad-assed unassuming Mom/hired assassin. Yep, you read that right!!!

I did it!! I finished!! Now please excuse me while I gather my thoughts and try to find my big girl words. I will be back with hopefully something that isn't just babbling and gushing superlatives!!

Whoa...game changer!! Smack me in the face, cuz I am shocked yet again. There is nothing left to do, but power through, quiet trying to figure where this is going and get toy hopefully HEA. See you on the other side!!!!

My nerves and heart can't take it!! I am sure I'll get an HEA...right??? Someone hold me!!!!

This has such a different vibe than the first book. The angst is strong with this one. I keep having to take reading breaks...and I am loving every emotionally charged moment!!

And the hits just keep on coming!! There are not enough snacks in the world or room in my belly to soothe my feelings right now.

Well dip me in brine and call me a pickle... I did NOT expect that. I love moments that catch me off guard. I might even be gobsmacked right now. I don't know what to do with myself!!! So a snack it is and then going back in. Wish me well!!!

Sweet heavenly bliss. I get to FINALLY figure out where this is going and what's gonna happen when we get there. I'm giddy!!!

Argghhhh - I want to strangle these two. I get the "week without trading info", but now that they've met up in real life, they still have secrets and make assumptions and choose not to share details. Dumb dumb dumb!!!

Oh my - this is gonna be a gut wrencher. She spots a homeless man, who just happens to be the same man who left her life 9 years ago. And now she's looking for him in a homeless shelter. How's this for a line:
"Pardon me for being nosy. But how's it that someone like you and someone like him have the same tattoo?"
"He and I are not different. We are the same. And I once loved him, very much".

I find this fascinating!! How did I never know that Agatha Christie went missing?

I forgot that I read spoilers about this some time ago...until it slapped me right in the face. And now I'm sad, sad, sad!!!

And poof, just like that it comes together for me and my heart breaks!!!! Gosh I love this woman's writing!!

And just like that, I'm at 80% and I am not ready for this to be over. I think I'll just read two pages a day so that it doesn't ever end...except I can't stay away from it.

I have spent 48% of this book on the brink of tears. My angst loving heart just plain hurts.
