Cat is reading Midwest Foraging: 115 Wild and Flavorful Edibles from Burdock to Wild Peach (Regional Foraging Series)

I thought I had written a review for this one.. hmmm, I found some familiar plants from my area, so I am assuming between this and the NE foraging book, I'll be good to begin foraging again this spring! I'd highly recommend buying or borrowing these books first, if you are new to foraging, as you would want to see color photos of the plants. And, as always, sample small amounts before eating heartily of them.

Smarmy. The whole kit and caboodle. Grabbed the book to see if I remembered correctly what I kept hearing from parents and their friends when I was really young. Kind of a gross out read in my opinion. Like reading the national Enquirer! Worth a read, I guess. I'm not done reading it yet, but doubt my opinion of that bunch will change much.

I so loved the first book! Book twos beginning sounds like the second story is going to be another joyous ride! Hope there is a third and 4th and 5th! So mush fun!
