started on audio…only lasted a few minutes because the narrator just wasn’t for me. we’ll try the paper version from the library because i loved all the other melissa ferguson books i’ve read.

heavy. a few scenes i’ve had to skip. but a gripping story well written.

not for me. it’s witty & creatively written, but this style of romance novel is not what i prefer to read. it’s a hallmark movie on the page, predictable, lots of dialogue that feels a little unnatural, and too racy for what i’m comfortable reading. i didn’t feel a need to finish it because i already know what’s going to happen & i’m not enjoying it enough to be worth my time!
