Jesse was wrong about Bane. His demeanor is of a player, and an asshole, but she sees more in him and can't help but fall. Bane wasn't prepared for Jesse. She's withdrawn, with a major "fuck off" attitude, but when he learns why, he falls even harder. They're each just what the other needs.
