I’m not enjoying this. Can I overcome some OCD and quit before I finish?

One of the better contemporary romance books I have read. The characters felt genuine and had great development. Maybe one scene to skip.

So far there is a little coarse language and I’m wondering if this method is a bit more crunchy than what is right for our family culture.

Starting a re-read of the series to prepare for the new release. I’m surprised at how much mythology is established early on. Maybe this time through I will be able to identify all those heralds.

Living up to its reputation.

A clear American classic, but I am having to set it aside. The images and the emotions are too raw, too painful. Right now I need something a little lighter and optimistic. Maybe I will come back to it a different year.
