So far totally loving it :) It is so refreshing to see a hero who's so normal...well except for being a 30 year old geek who happens to be a shape-shifting chinchilla with serious Sam Spade delusions. Oh, wait, shape shifting aside, I do know guys like that ;-)

H.B. Pattskyn is on page 120 of 135 of Nowhere Ranch

I picked up 3 books in the last week. One doesn't warrant talking about. After digging into the second for a few chapters and feeling "meh", I started in on Nowhere Ranch.

The difference between this book and the other one I'm reading is that Heidi Cullinan is an excellent writer. Not just storyteller (although she's a darned good one of those too), but she is simply a top notch writer.

H.B. Pattskyn is 50% done with The Strongest Shape

I'm still have a little trouble with the present tense, but I'm loving the story! One of the things that has really hit me is that I'm pretty sure Tessa has really nailed is getting the male perspective (I say "pretty sure" because I'm not male, I can only guess at how men think!) Scott, Caleb, and Chris are absolutely wonderful together, they are such guys at times, it's frustrating, but in a good way :)
