I have some doubts about if these people actually are good friends to each other

There is such a thing as too much therapy I think

Why is it such a thing in books and movies that the main characters friends refer to them as their full name in what’s supposed to be a jokey serious way, has that ever happened in real life? Does the author just really want us to know the characters full name? Once is enough if so

In order to thrive in 19th century England you need to know an exorbitant number of card games

Like why did they do all that

Not really a fan of either of the Js

I do unfortunately have to say a lot of this dialogue out loud in a southern accent
