Lost And
Lost And is on page 97 of 384 of For Tibet, With Love
I'm glad I found this book when I have - I recently vistied the Tibetan colony in Majnu-ka-tilla, and my calender notified me of the celebration of Buddha Purnima tomorrow.
This book isn't my usual kind of read. So far, it seems like the travel diary of white woman who has decided do something for a cause bigger than herself just to prove that she cares. Or maybe I just spent too much time on twitter?

love how its written so far. Every line I've read highlights again and again the comical, horrifying absurdity of war. The idea that all moments - past, present and future - have always existed is interesting, but not something I agree with. I first came across the concept in 'Story of Your Life' (which i loved because of how unique and interesting the idea was lol)

Easy to read, but not as absorbing as it could've been? Intrigued by Turkey and the culture there

Just finished the "actual" story, really disappointed by how the author kills off our guy. Im not sure why I enjoyed the book, because i thought both the mc and the prose were boring and i couldnt quite visualise the glass bead game (though i tried, i really did), im guessing it was the air of pretentious esotericism and the gripping descriptions of music and meditation that drew me to it?

Lost And is on page 9 of 260 of If on a Winter's Night a Traveller
Just read the first chapter. It's brilliant and funny and absorbing so far. The author has an interesting way of putting his observations/notions of life into words. Really excited to get into the rest of it tomorrow
