Just finished the first chapter. I'm already sad, please my body can't take it, I'm not ready for this emotional investment.

This book, takes over two hundred pages for the plot to actually get rolling. I feel like I'm reading fucking Lord of the Rings. . .

I am not enjoying this book. The plot is just not interesting, and whatever gripping factor it had at the start with the mystery it lost me due to the snail pace of the whole affair and focus on the different odities of the town.

I'm starting to enjoy the Cecil parts. They're actually quite charming.

Some funny lines so far, the story is still a bit of a slog so far though.

Okay, the plot thickens. I am going to make an educated guess of: Robot clones. . . Hopeful for the rest of the book. Enjoying the writing style aswell, so even if the story fails to grip me further, I thnik the prose might carry me the rest of the way through.

Well, this book is odd. I have only listened to an episode or two of the podcast, but the premis sounded fun enough to work well in book form. I'm worried that the book might be banking more on the whole "weirdness/strange" factor than actually having a good plot/story. I'll just have to read and see I suppose.
