Cute premise but predictable and eh so far.

I want to write a paper on the psychology of this book...I believe the characters are vehicles representative of deep societal ,political, religious problems that they are shackled by, rather than actually wanting to be the way they are...if a character is unlikable , and many are at this point in the book, it is more that what victimizes this character is really the villain...at least that's what I believe so far..

This feels darkly satirical and I also imagine there will be themes of trauma...I'm early into this but it gives me matter-of-fact dark vibe. Haven't read much about this book except that people love it or hate it.... we will see .

Sweet, light-yet-heavy at the same time, I've said "aww!" out loud multiple times so far while reading!

Finally digging into this! Already intriguing and heartwarming.

Really surprised by how much I'm loving this book. The story is unique and nerdy, the pain is raw and real, and I love the "play within a play" concept.

Yet another book I've read this year written for readers! I love how the book references so much literature and celebrates the value of the written word...the unlikely friendships, the raw and real flawed characters, the power of developing relationships through writing letters. I loved how we met of our main character's inner world through her letters. Sybil was direct, at times unlikeable but... I loved her!

Had to read it a second time. Just got to part 3 again with Chris. These characters are affixed to my heart. I love how authentic and imperfect the main characters are... it adds to the raw reality of this simple yet deep story. I just love it!

So far I'm equally interested in and intrigued by the science as much as I am lost regarding some of the details...Things I love: the heartwarming unlikely friendship, the futuristic problem that seems eerily possible, the structure of the story telling the present and flashing back, the development and depth of the various characters, the humor peppered in...☺️
