Fitting that the audiobook is 99 tracks.

I’m 5+ hours into the audiobook and not sure what is happening

Nice to have 45 minute-ish short stories for lunchtime walking

I usually don’t try to solve mysteries in stories- just let them unfold. But this one I couldn’t help thing the obvious twist - everyone and then it rolled out just as I thought. Have I got some brain issue? 🤷🏼‍♀️

The shock from part 2 to part 3 and “new” characters I was not prepared for.

If you have even the slightest empathy for others, this book will fuck you up. Especially if the word ‘Aleppo’ means anything to you.

Have to pause for several months. I waited almost a year to get this from the library and was too busy to finish when it was available. 20 people waiting when I went to renew... eventually. Eventually.

Still over 4 hours of audiobook to go. It was a slow tedious start, but then I got drawn in.

I’m a little over 2 hours in to the author read audiobook, and I didn’t expect to be this captivated and moved by the story telling.

Tedious so far. Some decent points, but Zzzz
