No animal (yes, humans too) is their best self when they are going hungry every day.

I feel like I’m taking a breath of fresh air. How is this book SO GOOD only 9 chapters in?!

Oof this is long and hard to keep picking up, but I know it’s worth reading.

I have a theory. Violet will purposely become venin and her and Xaden will go to that Theo lady and still keep their humanity to take down the enemy from within.

This book is SO GOOD! I’m excited to start ✨investing✨

There are so many en dashes when they should be commas or em dashes. It’s really distracting.

Her persistence in being a liability for the court of shadows is very annoying. So so dumb. Literally working with assassins now but insists on chasing Ferro like a dog chasing an ice cream truck, she hesitated to kill him when she had the chance. Ughhh

The whole “With me” thing is clearly setting up for the grand finale. The frequency in which it’s appeared so far is making me eye roll. I’m skimming at this point.

Oz is saying everything I would like to say to Mal. Holy crap she is one of the most annoying characters I’ve ever read.

I’m not a fan of the oblivious girl trope. I’ve never rolled my eyes this much.

It’s interesting but also kind of boring at the same time 😅 I’ve been skimming the last few chapters.

Idk about this one. Extortion is rarely ever sexy IMO 🤨

This is soo good so far!

This has been really good so far! I’m kind of shocked. The last romance I read as Ugly Love and I didn’t care for it so this is refreshing.

I don’t really like the narrator talking to be, the reader. I want to be absorbed in the world and the story, I can’t do that when the narrator keeps talking to me.

So far it’s very “British-humor” quirky.
