I have never liked the storyline with the Dark Lady. So creepy and weird!

I’m hoping this gets better as it goes. So far the plot is good, but it’s slow, because the writing keeps repeating the same information over and over. I like the characters, but there is a lot of profanity. It’s 50/50 right now. Some things I like, some things I don’t like.

This is so fascinating to see how Aristotle influenced Medieval Christians. I especially liked this section about Chaucer.

This is such a weird book. I kind of hate it. It’s a journal format written in present tense. Ugh.

I’m really enjoying this so far! It’s so cute how Kit and Nita are awkwardly in love. Adorable!

So far… I hate this. I don’t like any of the characters. I hate the long-winded present-tense writing. Lots of violence and descriptions of dead bodies. The plot is very slow.

So far I’ve read Hans Christian Anderson’s Snow Queen, and an excerpt from George Macdonald’s Phantastes- The Magic Mirror. Both so beautifully haunting!
