I have been wanting to read this for a long time but got around to it finally as I received it as a textbook for one of my classes. it opened my eyes to new perspectives of being with the land and truly living in a way that is akin to symbiosis. It makes the voices of the land visible and shares the wisdom that we all need to live as one with another.

I’m not sure of what I was expecting this book to be like before I began reading but it’s definitely exceeding those expectations! I am loving it so far and I’m totally invested.

I like it so far but I don’t follow the characters names well enough to clue in which timeline I’m reading until the chapters are nearly finished lol.

Interested to see how the rest of the book goes!! I think I’ll enjoy it more when the weather dulls down and September sinks in.

Kind of all over the place but it’s a short read so I’ll probably still finish it! I like the content nonetheless

I like it so far but it’s slightly cringeworthy lol. I’m pushing through bc I want to see how I ends up!! So far it’s a 3.5 stars
