I am loving every minute so far. Curious to see what Addie was left in the dark about with her father’s actions. Curious to see what she learns and how she reacts to the information while reading about dragons. I’m wondering why it all seems familiar to her, almost as if she belongs.

I’m enjoying it so far. It’s not exactly what I expected, I think I got several fantasy stories mixed into one big amalgamation in my head before I started this one. It’s neat to see it unravel and clear things for me as I learn about the main characters.

It’s great so far. I’m interested in seeing how the tenuous relationship between the mage and the mender grows. Right now the mender still doesn’t like the mage, but will it stay that way?

I don’t want to put it down, but at the same time I don’t want it to be finished. It’s made me feel so many things tonight.

I’m loving it so far. The banter between the two. They’re nailing the grumpy grumpier:feral vibes. I’m assuming you would know who is the feral MC between Sorya and the Commander. If you don’t, you’ll figure it out quickly.

Favorite line so far: “You have no idea.” I counter, because apparently my mouth does terrible things - like speak.
