I am not super far into this book, but if the main characters refers to the love interest as THE Duncan Carpenter one more time or compares his current asshole self to his ridiculous juvenile self, I'm going to lose my mind.

Which is sad because I have loved every other book this author has written.

I'm 35% in and rechecking the reviews to see why I ever put a library hold on this book. This is going to be a skim read to get through the cringe.
