This book is inspiring because of how McCardell figured out a way when there was no way, but also it is depressing to review how women were treated through the 1900s, mostly because so much of it continues in 2025.

Don’t want to put it down!

A great story of a blind but otherwise very principled (and privileged) lawyer and federal judge. It’s a career path I think I would have loved.

Reframing what it means to be healing…. So good!

Exciting — I’m finishing the series now.
