I just can’t read this. I can’t deal with the “heck” and “darn” thing. I rather read no descriptor at all

I’m on the first few pages and don’t know if I can hang in with “heck” and “darn” for the duration entire book. I wish the author used nothing over these cheesy words.

So the most significant personal (feeling) piece I next is “The Boy With No Eyes”. Unsettled experiences coming to visit, great stuff. Really disturbing imagery in the best way showing us what it’s like to cut those things off and that they never go away.

Still good although it seems like I’ve hit a patch of poems that resonate strong feelings rather than lived emotion.

“Marvin” stuck with me tonight I kind of wish I didn’t read it before I went to bed and woke up to a job I can only offer my surface self to. That kind of ending is so possible for me and many people really. Fucking Marvin is going to give me a nightmare tonight, I will read that one again on my day off.

Im inching my way through, reading each piece a couple times then putting the book down to reflect on the words and meaning. Usually at the end of my day when I am not interrupted constantly. It’s really peaceful to reflect on these puzzle pieces of a life. So much of it is relatable I have marked my favorites and will revisit them.

Okay I have hit a poem I dislike. “Trigger Warning” is just not for me because it’s political and I don’t like art mixed with politics. So far we’ve seen frames of the author and pieced together his inner life and the experiences that formed it. This really felt like it didn’t fit. Sure it’s an opinion but not a reflection as the the others are.

I’m on page 20 taking my time reading and rereading ones I like. I was really taken with “Up Her Sleeves” because it relays hard to describe experiences you have as kids fumbling through loving someone authentically without all the adult tools we create. We can not care too much when things end, already decide it will not develop into anything or worse decide loneliness is safer.

Starting to wonder what the point of this book is beyond strange depictions of self loathing.

This is hard to read but very entertaining. I absolutely hate these adults, I can’t call them parents that’s for sure. The mom is every bit as bad as Domko and I just can’t believe she lacks basic instincts to protect her children.

I Have barely started this but these women are really fun, what great people to learn about.

Okay halfway through and I’m enjoying the facts but not the religious garbage he’s included. I respect his research but not everyone is Christian nor needs to be.

This good so far, it’s certainly true our healthcare doesn’t address preventative measures or diet. They often hand out pills to treat acute conditions and Pharmaceutical companies produce medications that manage conditions and can be take taken monthly. They’re the money makers, cures do not make money.

HELP, it’s going on and on about religious garbage. Finishing this feels like punishment if this doesn’t end soon I’m bailing out.

Ugh.. now they are reading Bible verses and discussing them. Is this a testimonial or a story? Help, I really want to ditch this book but I have almost finished it. Man I don’t miss church and this nonsense.

Ugh.. I didn’t think this story could get more boring now it’s a Jesusy testament phase, please let this part end. I do not care about about religious junk.

Well so far this is kind of trying. I’m hoping these two get their act together or something exciting happens because two people who are struggling with personal issues are struggling together isn’t really gripping.

This is a fun fantasy adventure so far I’m enjoying it.
