I wanted to like this but it’s a little too heavy with social commentary and theory for my preferences, I will not be finishing.

This has the makings to be a good book, but it feels very trope heavy and predictable. I’m out of audiobook time on spotify so I need to wait a little bit, I’m not upset about that though. This book is easy to set down and I find myself cringing a lot as I listen.

I’ve listened to this at 2.75 speed and the main character is still insufferable, I’m giving up.

I still can’t really tell you what this book is about and the main character feels very immature, I won’t be finishing this one.

I was expecting life lessons and lived experience as the driving factor for the plot but this feels too heavy and full of theory for my preferences.

interesting concepts but I think I need to switch to audiobook.
