This book drags because things can't be simply described- they are detailed. The book is beautifully written and I feel as if I am also there with the characters.

It is still early, but I was sucked in by the beginning, "This is the story of how my best friend disappeared. How nobody noticed she was gone except me. And how nobody cared until they found her...one year later".

This book came to me via a recommendation from a friend. I was skeptical at first, but now that I am halfway through, I dare say that I am enjoying it.

The first two pages were confusing for me. I am trying to get a feel for my characters and I just admit, at this point, I am lost...nonetheless, I will continue.

Though I am only 12% of the way in...I must say, Cole has me interested in what he is offering in this book. The descriptions are on point, and remind me so much Nigeria.
