Hmmm....developing some mixed feelings about this book now....BUT....I am still interested. Some of the characters are starting to annoy me. I will reserve my comments for later.

This book did not waste time setting the tone for what was yet to come. I am determined to finish this book now as I want to know what happened!

Oh, this book is so good!
I am intrigued by the culture, the colorful descriptions, and the ability of Alka Joshi to transport me to India from my living room, so that I can understand what is happening to the characters in this story!

This book drags because things can't be simply described- they are detailed. The book is beautifully written and I feel as if I am also there with the characters.

It is still early, but I was sucked in by the beginning, "This is the story of how my best friend disappeared. How nobody noticed she was gone except me. And how nobody cared until they found her...one year later".
