I keep saying: “WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE!?” but there’s a surprising charm to this team tbh

This is my second time reading the Dark Phoenix Saga and I found it just a but rushed and not as impactful like the first time but it’s still ICONIC.

The amount of ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ Tie-ins I’ve read since last year might add up to an omnibus (lmao) but Todd McFarlane’s artwork elevated that one here A LOT. Really fun run so far.

Lestat has such a unique tone and voice. I’m already riveted.

Incredible stuff so far but there was just a moment of Superman having the weirdest speech about a villain with a physical disability, felt very much like Byrne trying to say something there, not Supes. I was like: “hmmm 👀”

This is even better than I expected. Stellar vintage artwork as well!

I’m set on finishing this today and it’s getting very good again, Moench writes Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox very well!

Peak btw

I see an attempt to be more socially aware here and also punch down on some others… Too many “I’m not gay” moments from Green Arrow already, WE KNOW. The plot itself is fine so far but I have a feeling I wouldn’t like this writer in person.

I really really love Morrison’s Batman. Frank Quietly is kinda peak here too!

A much darker tone and slower pace but still outstanding imo, i’m really enjoying it!

I’ve read a lot of JSA the last few days and I love them.
