The story stated out promising but a little over half way through the story gets boring. I’m 80% in now and I’m struggling to turn the page. Where is this book going and why do I care? The romance has petered out and I’m still not sure what’s going on with the sister Libby.

Darrow frustrates me in this book so far. But I am pushing through to finish it.

I enjoyed the hunger games series but for whatever reason I’m struggling to finish this book. I’m only trying to finish because my daughter wants to discuss it with me. But overall this book is engaging me. Maybe because Snow is the main character. Even after reading about his past I still can’t relate to snow. I actually have more questions about his family than before.

for Millie, having been an ex-con she has zero self-preservation instinct. My only thought is how did she survive prison. I don’t know whether to continue reading or DNF this book.
