I enjoyed the hunger games series but for whatever reason I’m struggling to finish this book. I’m only trying to finish because my daughter wants to discuss it with me. But overall this book is engaging me. Maybe because Snow is the main character. Even after reading about his past I still can’t relate to snow. I actually have more questions about his family than before.

for Millie, having been an ex-con she has zero self-preservation instinct. My only thought is how did she survive prison. I don’t know whether to continue reading or DNF this book.

Very interesting so far. I don’t want to stop reading. So many questions I have to know what’s going to happen next.

It’s a tough book to read but I am making myself finish it. I think it could have easily been a shorter novel.
