Been reading the book while also listening to the actual recordings of the lectures. I’d say that most people (including myself) are not the target audience for either the book or the lectures. Some elitist stuff, IMO.

It might've been the authors mistake to bring Linus' opinions on the stuff he clearly has such shallow and naive understanding of.

صد صفحه‌ی اول کتاب مملو از زیاده‌گویی‌های بیهوده‌ست. به نیمه‌ی کتاب که می‌رسی تازه بحثای جالب شروع میشه، ولی نویسنده میاد یه پاراگراف میگه و رد می‌شه از بحث. احتمالا میخواسته کتاب تخصصی/سخت نباشه. ولی خب اینی که من دارم می‌خونم، داستانه.

اخلاقی زیستن، ریشه در فطرت انسان نداره. با فرض اینکه تعریف امر اخلاقی در یک عصر، میان تمام یا عمده‌ی انسان‌ها مشترک باشه، کماکان هیچکس ذاتا میل به انجام کار خوب یا اخلاقی نداره.
انسان «تصمیم می‌گیره» که کار اخلاقی رو انجام بده. وهرکس دلیل متفاوتی می‌تونه برای این تصمیمش داشته باشه.
