3/4 of the way through this. Keep getting distracted and overwhelmed with our current capitalistic catastrophe and having a difficult time. The writing is fantastic, I want to reiterate that my issues are with my mindset and not the book.

This is a DNF

I’m kind of stalled out right now. Everything really grabbed my interest until the affair started and now I’m not super interested anymore. I’ll try reengaging and see if I can finish. I was super excited to read this one, lots of great reviews and seemed interesting but now I’m bogged down.

Magic

Probably not my cup of tea. I found it slow and none too interesting.

So far, really consistently good stories.

I'm pretty much stalled on this book and have chosen to move on for now. I'll finish it when I'm in a different mind set. It has a lot of good observations, but in my current mood, I am finding something about it rather tedious.

I'm about halfway through the book. Its great! I had to give the library back their copy before I was finished, so I'm in suspended animation right now, until I can get my hands on another copy to finish. Can't wait to finish the story!

I usually don't update halfway through, but I have to say, I am loving the momentum, the suspense and the darkness of this novel. If the story delivers at the end what it is delivering now, it will be one hell of a read!
