His writing feels very formulaic and appears to try to be as scientific as possible. It’s alright I guess, but feels bland and over-explanatory so far.

Had to DNF this one despite my growing interest in the topic and the cool info it had to share. There were just so many errors with references (i.e., Henry Flagg French was referred to as both “French” and “Flagg” in the same paragraph), the organization was rather poor, and grammar/punctuation issues abounded. I couldn’t stand it 😭

I’m this 🤏🏻 close to DNFing. Every character is just insufferably boring.
