Okay this is better now. All depends on the ending though.

I’m not enjoying this one. I find it really crass, like a lot more than his other books with romantic elements. This one is creepy. And not in the horror novels are creepy way, in the this author might be creepy way.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one - it’s Stephen King so I didn’t even read the blurb. But this isn’t striking me so much the way most of the rest of his work has.

My soul feels happier reading Bourdain again.

Still on the fence here. I thought I’d enjoy this a lot more.

I’ve been switching between print and audio on this one. Because I’m not loving it in either format. The writing isn’t grabbing me and I am not enjoying the narration on the audio - though it has made me enjoy the story more. We will see at the end I guess.

Not me blubbering every time a dog gets adopted.

I think I’m going to love this. I miss memoirs, this is the first one I’ve picked up in a while and it covers an inspiring woman and her journey with dogs. Perfect.

This book has such vibesssss. I feel like I’m watching an 80s slasher unfold. I can’t to see where it goes!

Despite the fact that I find the storylines in this series very predictable, I still enjoy reading them and I’m excited to continue reading the series with the announcement of two more books to come!

I can guess at the potential spice level of Throne of Glass based on some of the scenes in this book.

Ugh WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO COME BACK TO A PREGNANCY? I’m so sick of this whole traditional path every love story has to follow. It makes me sick that we have all of these women, more than ever before being published and all everyone can be bothered to write is boy girl fall in love save world get married have baby. I’m so tired of it.

This took forever for anything to happen and when it did it was frustrating to read. This book is not tracking well for me so far but we will see how we go.

I don’t love Nesta as a character - at least based on the previous books and this one so far - but I think she’ll have won me over by the end. If this story goes the way I think it will. Cassian is just DREAMY. I like that this book is not Rhys and Feyre but so far they’ve been almost entirely absent from the story so it kind of sticks out. I’d like to read stories about Mor and Azrael as well.

3.5 hours left in the audiobook. I have to say it’s been a journey with this one. I can’t wait to see how it ends.

I think I do like this one. It’s starting to get a bit creepy. Which is right. Up my alley.

This book is definitely for a younger reader. Still cute. Don’t know that I’d call them festive stories either.

I’m leaning toward loving this. But I need to know what the twist is and how it ends.
