Already in love with this novel...a character who wishes everyone dead roughly every other paragraph is my kind of heroine. Wonderfully dark...can't wait to see what happens.

Love the characters...hard to imagine me not rating this 4 to 5 stars; there would have to be a sharp right turn into a ditch. (Long-listed for the Man Booker).

I am quick losing faith in the relevance of a National Book Award nominations. I found Station Eleven to be greatly overrated. The dystopian of aspects of this novel not only overshadowed but completely destroyed all potential for an interesting plot.

So far very underwhelmed...isn't living up to the hype.

Very impressed with the style and story. On track to be a five-star novel.

I enamored by his writing style. Fantastic use of dialogue and interesting character development in this collection short stories. I absolutely can see why it won the Pen/Faulkner.

This is novel reads like a collection of interconnected short stories. The first story was stunning. It's magical realism meets fable.

As if a book about a book that carries the story of multicultural tensions wasn't enough to interest me, the horrible mother and phrases like "Sex in the Stacks or the sex lives of librarians" are propelling me through this somewhat heavy novel.

Don't read much sci-fi so I am happy to take this on for book club.

Now I get why my librarian friends love this book...details about a book restoration and a damaged, mysterious sexy male librarian.

So far, a very fascinating read..
