I want it to be known that I put down Steel Gods AND The Knave and The Moon to read this and I'm so mad I did. 😭

I predicted the book from chapter 2. Now I'm just reading it to see how it ends and mark it off as another book read.

Claire is blind and must have never seen a horror movie in her life. WHY DO YOU QUESTION NOTHING?! But also, her being so pissed off at the brother is annoying. She barely knows shit. I get she's upset FOR her fiance, but the level she is at is a bit extreme. Especially because they never met before and all she knows is the brother "ran from responsibility" yet she has NO CLUE what those responsibilities are. Girl
