The writing is very dry and does a lot of telling than showing.

Honestly, this book is really good. I love the world building and the characters. I was rooting for Alma the whole way. I talked about this book with my friends and gave my prediction (which 10000% wasn't right). And holy shit, that twist. Though, I will say that the twist was a bit short lived and I wanted that to be a little longer.

Holy shit. Freya redeemed herself and i actually like this book. WHERE WAS THIS BAD BITCH IN THE FIRST 68% OF THIS BOOK AND THE OTHER.

I swear, this series is so damn slow. I feel like i have no sense of time. Also, if Freya BITES HER INNER CHEEK ONE MORE TIME.....
