Bruh. This main character is having a rough time for NO REASON. Book reads like day one, day two, which is annoying. There's no true flow between days or sense of how much time had passed. The FMC, who is she? She could be made of cardboard and I wouldn't know. There's no established reason to care about ANYONE because....well, it wasnt established.

Moving a bit fast. I think we're skipping details. Beginning needs more fleshed out.

The writing is very dry and does a lot of telling than showing.

Honestly, this book is really good. I love the world building and the characters. I was rooting for Alma the whole way. I talked about this book with my friends and gave my prediction (which 10000% wasn't right). And holy shit, that twist. Though, I will say that the twist was a bit short lived and I wanted that to be a little longer.
