"Are you prepared to not be a prince anymore?" he literally lived like a frat boy. has never done one princely thing in his 150 years or however old he is

"tax the uber-powerful" my guys you are the uber-powerful, it's like the french nobility petitioning the use of the guillotine

can't think of a way someone did something? Just say "somehow"

all of this takes place over a single week??????

every single bad guy gets killed in 0.5 seconds, I almost miss micah

"This isn't the time to experiment." > proceeds to experiment

are we surprised

"She told me she had a half-human, half-Fae friend who had faced similar troubles" yeah like being told her boobs and ass are too perfect (also she's fully Fae looking and super powerful she barely remembers she's half human)

stop talking about the future kids!!!!

making out in the deathly caves full of ghouls is nothing compared to having sex in the deep roads twice sarah

she didn't "defect from being queen" she was usurped and on her way to being publicly executed!!!

the pacing is all over the place but at least we have some women

"I always forget you actually have magic" yeah because it's literally never been talked about before girl

back with the logical missteps, she's grabbing, unsheathing and pointing two weapons (how many hands?)

king of a continent? he's barely king of his own house

big sigh. 200 pages and all the povs are of people still stuck somewhere and explaining/listening to explanations of things

100 pages of nothing. wow.

oh we have to suffer through tharion's chapters again

say he looks like a teenage boy one more time I didn't quite catch it

yes let's settle any unfinished business in case we die by saying "let's talk about this more when I'm back." I bet not one of them will die in this super dangerous mission either huh?

oh now we realize we don't have any female friends, do we?

sex so good she suddenly learned to teleport

yeah mates are so rare that there's 5 books about them and we're onto the sixth and seventh

"he pressed a chaste kiss to her brow" which other kind of kiss would it even be!!!!

everybody wants a piece of bryce, not only the living be they 20 or 1000 years old but now even every single prince of hell!

"he spoke with the cloaked, hooded figure disguised as a begging vagrant. Ruhn could make out the outline of a gun strapped to the figure's thigh beneath the threadbare cloak." wow. incredible disguise

a whole book and we're still stupid. yeah yeah the terrifying king of the dead won't harm us bc we're so powerful and beautiful and dumb as fuck

"I don't know how much more of this "Surprise! Danika had a big secret!" stuff I can take." yeah you and me both

we are walking instead of crawling to move the plot forward this time, but it relies way too much on the secret life of danika imo
