Hoping for some fun twists in this story to distract from the poor writing, repetition, & pretending that judging someone based on gender is worse than being a serial killer. 🤣

Rich people often go missing because they want to; poor people who go missing are probably dead.

Realized way too far into this that I've listened to two books by this author and rated them both 2-stars.

I hope they can repeat a few hundred times more how empty Manhattan is over the 4th of July.

DNF. Calling it quits on the insta-lust and cast of characters I couldn’t care less about. Shallow & boring in two eras.

I’m thinking it’s this book I’m going to leave unfinished. Can anyone recommend a good audiobook???

I wanted to know what happened when two people felt it. Would it divide the hurt in two, make it lighter to bear, the way feeling someone's joy seemed to double it?
