Stephen King short stories are like returning home 🥹

I’m just four stories in and I am noticing that even when I put the book down to go about my every day tasks there is a palpable feeling of dread following me like a shadow. There are some books that you can put down and leave behind until you pick up again, and there are others, like the deadly superflu of these stories, you cannot outrun, that infect your very being. Damn this
