I managed up to chapter 20, still I didn't get the humor in it. A few laughs here and there, but the plot? Is there any? It's not going anywhere.

I don't think I can take any more of this atrophic writing. He did, He such, he so or whatever, it feels like bad writing to me.
Subject and the many metaphors are smart and fascinating, but the plot is not going anywhere.

Getting very tiresome to get through this. I might get 'burned' for that, but who cares. It's too much of the same.
And the more it gets dragged out, the harder it becomes to keep up with who is who.

Not entirely impressed. Cheap comments about women and sex. Very self-absorbed. I have been to many of the places the author discusses so it does bring back nice memories, but he either talks things down or is tottally over the top on locations (like Capri i.e.)
