Less than 4 hours to listen and I'm pretty sure I solved the crimes. Well, two good guesses. REALLY enjoying this. Like WAY more than I'd anticipated.

I'm on ch 17 of 50. This is absolutely terrifying. Great narrator.

The original synopsis (since changed) was a misrepresentation of this book. Let's not fault Niven for this. So far, this is absolutely heartbreaking but simultaneously... I don't know, warm? Libby's motivations are admirable and the type to emotionally punch someone in the throat. *Curls up to keep reading*

Started this read today (realized I should do this before LDRH). Absolutely delightful MG book.

This is such a beautifully grotesque piece about terrible people. No good guys, and the root of hate. Wow...

Just finished part one. Enjoying the read. The vertex descriptions are really fascinating. Have a sneaking suspicion about something.

This is absolutely delightful so far. Very, VERY funny.

As I'm not familiar with this genre and age range, like I've said on Twitter, some parts of this book are a bit of a personal struggle for me. That said, I still am enjoying it although I'm rereading some areas. My favorite parts include the vivid imagery of lightning (well, duh) and the strained relationship with Valentine and her father. THAT interests me.

Enjoying this read so far. Not my normal genre, so it's kind of neat. It feels like the bridge between MG and YA, probably closer to a long MG for advanced MG-aged readers. Very clean language, which would probably appeal to a lot of parents, and a funny part about the "cool kid" using dated slang (well, funny until I realized I use the exact same terminology... oy, I'm getting old).

Just started reading this at the gym. Holy shit. This is terrifying. It's somewhat how extremists are born, chronicling how people are groomed to do terrible things. I have no clue where the plot is going, and that's a good thing.

Prose, backstory, just flawless literary fiction with the same sort of danger as Rickstad's other works. Different style and pace (more McCarthy-esque) than his other work, which might be a surprise to some readers, but with my background, I appreciate what he did in this book so much.

Absolutely incredible. Breathtaking. Relevant, new, fresh.

Not sure how I feel yet. Some really marvelous parts.
