Abby Jimenez has a way of drawing you in with her characters instantly, but it was in chapter 2 where the MMC was described as looking like Rhysand from ACOTAR that made me continue reading with GLEE I tell you. GLEE. Well played Abby 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Here we go. As someone who didn’t rate The Dictionary of Lost Words, I don’t really have any interest in reading this, BUT it is the #1 pick for the Dymocks 101 in 2024 so I’m giving it a go and hoping to be proven wrong.

It is so very hard to draw pure light on a white piece of paper. The lightness is formed by the darkness we place around it.
