Nicey Talbot is reading Cobweb Empire (Cobweb Bride Trilogy, #2)
Brilliant read. So much so I bought the final book in the trilogy. Interesting mix of fantasy and classical history.

Full of humour, albeit in parts somewhat dark and gruesome. Venir's comrades add a little light-heartedness to the imagery of decapitated limbs and intestines strewn across a forest floor.

Rather enjoyable so far for a free kindle e-book! :) Melegal and Venir are good main characters, contrasting personalities and common ground make for a pleasant read!

Nicey Talbot is reading The Autumn Castle (Europa, #1)
I was recommended this book by a friend. Begins as a slow burner, but the characters are well created and relatable. Rather disappointed with the ending. I was hoping for a chapter on "the after years" and so was anti-climactic on the last page. All in all a great book to read :)

Easy read, full of humour and bittersweet sadness. You can empathise with the characters through their hardship. A nice mix of non fiction and fiction. Credit to the author.

Enjoyable read. Persinally thought there could've been more references to the Gladitorial period, but overall a satisfying book. Took far too long to read it!
