This had a lot of promise, the time period and quirky characters were fun to navigate, but then the ending made me so mad that I threw the book.

This one was a slow burn, very moody.

This book was so frustrating! That said, I couldn’t put it down.

I kept holding out hope that the main characters would finally, finally, FINALLY have a come to Jesus moment about their feelings for one another and then it just ended so abruptly without any discussion or character development.

This had its moments of absolute cuteness and then the rest of it I skimmed.

I had no idea what this story was about and all worst case scenarios I thought might happen didn’t prepare me for what did. This was beautiful and tragic and absolutely fucking gutting. My husband, who picked this story for us to read and didn’t warn me AT ALL about it, is no longer allowed to recommend books for the family to read. That said, read this.

A LOT happened at the end, so much one could hardly keep track of it all.

Quitting this book, I just can’t. I hate the modern way in which these characters interact and speak.

My first DNF in years. I just cannot get in to this book AT ALL.

Just received this as my first "Surprise Book Club of the Month" selection. Very excited to see how I enjoy it as it was selected for me based off my preference card I had to submit. Best Valentines day present ever!
