I am not even finished this book, yet I am obsessed with it.

I love this book so much, I bought the audiobook so I can read it at home and listen to it in the car.

So far one of my favorite things about this book is how Offerman talks about the joy of discovery when in nature, but he also expressed that same joy in discovering ideas or new words or new concepts, like the word in a Muir (I believe) quote that he had to look up and discovered it meant a category of flower, all of which have the words "baby blue eyes" in the name.

Only a few pages into Crook Manifesto, and Whitehead's writing, a perfect update on hard-boiled to 1970s Harlem, has me mesmerized again with furniture salesman and sometimes fence Ralph Carney's world.

There's nothing like a good book.

I LOATHED THIS BOOK WITH A FIERY PASSION! Or at least, the first two chapters.
