Not sure how I wasn’t warned about the Barney plot line but that is on my list of hard nos 😭 I absolutely cannot forgive dog crimes in books

SPOILER ALERT!!

I’m pretty sure it’s her friend’s dad. Within the first 10 chapters we find out that Andi was dating an older man. We also find out that Mr. Ward knew Andi (& acted weird about it) and that he wasn’t at work the day Sal died. If I’m right about this, the book gets 2 stars maximum.

It’s taken a long time but I’ve finally chosen to forgive what happened in The Friend Zone and start Sloan’s story.

She could really use some “remember who the real enemy is” right about now. Much to discuss once I finish and can include spoilers in my review

No spoilers, but if Edric’s chapter just revealed what I think it did I’m nauseous & may have to DNF because EW.

If I’m going to read all 700 of these pages for class it has to count towards my reading goal

I have my final prediction and without spoiling anything I feel like I wouldn’t have been able to guess the ending if I hadn’t read Rock Paper Scissors first. The timeline is so shady & it feels so similar to RPS.

I feel like if I knew a little more or a little less about Greek mythology this would be a much easier read because the references are driving me crazy and I can’t remember any of their full stories

I guarantee this will be my top book of 2023

I have been itching to read this book for over a year and the time has finally come! I honestly think my heart raced a little when I purchased it because I’m so excited. Stay tuned!
