I reserved this book from the library without seeing it. When I got it, I noticed the eight (a kind of crew rowing boat) on the cover and got excited that there could be rowing. But no rowing so far. So now I’m sad, even though rowing has nothing to do with me choosing this book in the first place. lol

I’ll read anything and enjoy it on some level, but mystery isn’t my favorite genre. I picked this one up because I’m going to Grasse later this year and I like to read books set in the places I’m visiting before I go. This was the only one I could find. :) So that’s how I found myself starting on book 22 of a series.

So this is my own fault but I forced myself through the beginning. So far, meh.
