Ok so…I’m gonna finish this because I’m almost close to done. Don’t know if I’ll be continuing. It was very obvious the difference between the sister authors

I was loving it in the beginning, but I’m feeling myself getting into a slump. I’m not emotionally caring about these characters. It’s not a DNF, it’s a “maybe later”

Ok, this is moving somewhere. And finally, a spicy-ish scene!

I’m so upset that I had to wait until the 3rd book to actually see Luther and his powers at full force. What he is capable of.
Now, after the beach scene, I have a crush on Luther. But it was after strongly considering DNFing this series.

To be honest, everyone just TALKS about Luther being powerful but I haven’t seen anything to back it up. He failed in protecting her father, he let her get captured, he let her go into the fire to save the Descendant soldiers. Where is this “awe” of Luther and his powers and protectiveness? He’s like “sacrifice me” every moment he can get.

I’m waiting….

So far this is good: an adventure!

Rereading this book, want something familiar before I dive in to something else new.
